Brenna on the north side of Lofoten, with a clear view towards the horizon is the perfect spot to watch the midnight sun. Below the mountain and just above the sea, you get to follow the suns journey towards the horizon and see it turn back towards the sky before reaching the ocean. Join us for a trip to Basecamp Brenna to watch the unique light and tranquility of a sunset without the sun setting.
Brenna is a half hour scenic drive from Svolvær. On the way, you will see The Lofoten Cathedral, Vågakallen (the tallest mountain of the area) and the Rørvik Beach among other things. We stay in Brenna for 2,5 hours until the sun starts rising again. In the camp we have a fire place and the possibility of buying beer and mineral water. The view point is at the end of the road on the north side of Austvågøy and is therefore a place with little traffic and commotion. A perfect quiet place to enjoy the sun, the ocean and surrounding nature.
