Get close to nature and experience the winter lights and amazing view-points together with us in January and February. Our experienced guide invite you to come along on a two-hours winter walk in in the outskirts of Svolvær. The terrain does not require you to be very fit, and we are mainly focusing on enjoying nature and the surroundings on this hike. The local guide tells you stories that gives you an insight in the Lofoten Islands history, about everyday life and the nature that surrounds us. A comfortable and exciting way to spend a few hours outdoors during your stay in the islands.
The places we take you to are pearls you need guides to locate. Not because they are un-accessible, we just know where to locate them. We take you where it is peace and quiet, only the sound of nature and a spectacular view. The trip takes about two hours, and we gladly pick you up at your hotel in Svolvær or Kabelvåg. Be ready 30 minutes before departure at the hotels reception

What to wear and bring?
The weather in Lofoten chances rapidly, and during winter we advise you to bring warm clothes, just the same as you will see locals are wearing:
Fleece or wool sweater
Warm jacket and trousers that isolates
Scarf, gloves, hat, warm and isolated shoes
A back-pack with extra sweater, gloves, warm and cold drinks, and a snack
