A cultural and gastronomic introduction to the story of Lofoten
Combine history and culture in the urban fishing village of Svolvær. Every story comes with a taste of local cuisine.
Join our cultural walk featuring the history of the fisheries, the historical land-owning fish buyers and the present-day sights in the centre of Svolvær.
During our 3-5 kilometer cultural walk we make several stops of interest, and our English-speaking guide welcomes all questions and comments to ensure the best trip possible. We end our trip in a venue where we taste some of our local delicacies.
“A taste of Lofoten with cultural walk, storytelling and local cuisine”
We visit the most important current and historical local sites, accompanied by your local host.
A weather-friendly experience! The weather in Lofoten can change rapidly, which is some of the charm of these isles. You should wear warm clothes like wool and fleece layers, plus a down jacket, during winter. During summer remember a rain or wind jacket.
