Combination of museum and your private special restaurant
One of a kind way to dine while in Lofoten
The former cod liver oil factory in Henningsvær has been converted into a combined museum and restaurant. Historical items from several of Henningsvær’s key historical institutions like the telegraph, the soft drinks factory, the canned foods factory, and of course the cod liver oil factory are distributed around the building.
“This is an adventure dinner you will never forget”

You will experience the local delicacy home made caviar, while the host tells you stories and anecdotes about the skrei (barents cod) and its effects on the region and nation from the 1200s until today. At the same time you will get to sample the potential range this fish has on your plate.
